CVTC offers 15 unique and tailored support groups for survivors of violent crime. We are constantly expanding our group therapy program to address the emerging needs of our clients. New Parent Breastfeeding Support Group provides support, encouragement, and guidance for breastfeeding mothers and new parents. Discussion topics include growth and development, feeding issues, self esteem as a parent, time management, return to work in/out of home, and free discussion for other areas of concern. The group is facilitated by a master’s prepared pediatric nurse practitioner.
